I’m a lover of words who is fascinated by humanity. Who yearns for understanding and finds clarity in nature. I love the smell of old books, the feeling of wind dancing around my body, the freedom of vast spaces, the sound of peaceful silence, and the taste of sweet moments.

 

For as far back as I can remember I have had a passion for words. Written word, spoken word, different languages, sign language… anything about communicating your thoughts from inside your head to inside the head of another person and vice versa. In this love for language, I came to be fascinated by humanity. There are so many different variables and complexities that I have yet to learn, experience or figure out. I want to know why we do what we do. What makes us who we become? What can I learn that I didn’t know before?

 

Somewhere along the way as life began happening to me. I suddenly learned that life stopped matching what I thought I knew. The things I believed to be certain suddenly weren’t so certain anymore. That confusion left me curious for answers. It was in looking for answers that I found the questions that changed my life.

 

After decades of wondering, reading, searching out answers in psychology, philosophy, religion, travel, nature, and everything in between, what I found surprised me. Life isn’t about figuring things out. It’s about learning, growing and improving. It’s about looking at things and figuring out what to do with it all.

 

That’s what I ponder here. The questions that are worth asking. I don’t pretend to have all the answers; I just claim to be unsure enough to continue looking and asking.  If you came here looking for clarity then you might leave here frustrated, because in no way do I have it all figured out. I still have a ton of unanswered questions myself. But if you’ve come here wanting to search things out, look at the world differently and questions things you’ve never considered before, then you’re in good company – you’ve come to the right place and I’m glad you’re here.
